Bio
Sarah studies active galactic nuclei (AGN) and, during her PhD, was the first to find that black-hole accretion dominates the radio emission of 'radio quiet' AGN, as opposed to star formation. In studying 'radio loud' AGN, she is the PI of the GLEAM 4-Jy (G4Jy) collaboration, which includes leading follow-up observations on both MeerKAT and the Southern African Large Telescope. She also has experience with the Very Large Array, the Murchison Widefield Array, the Australia Telescope Compact Array, the Keck-II telescope, and the William Herschel Telescope. Collaboration-wise, she is involved in MIGHTEE, CARACal, GLASS, EMU, and Radio Galaxy Zoo.
