RATT
RATT offers a variety of technical and science-oriented postgraduate projects. This is a representative (though by no means comprehensive) list of graduate research projects available at RATT for studies commencing 2027. Please contact the listed supervisors directly for more details. Please take note of the following:
  1. Postgraduate funding instruments available to RATT are typically restricted to citizens of South Africa and the SKA Africa partner countries (Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, and Zambia). Citizens of other countries are thus not eligible for funding, unless specifically noted on a per-project basis below.
  2. Applicants from partner countries: please check your equivalent SAQA NQF level. Rhodes normally requires NQF 8 for MSc applicants, and NQF 9 for PhD applicants, although exceptions may be motivated for if substantial additional research experience can be demonstrated.
